Each of these would already deserve their own blogs… I mean think about it, one release, two major CDEs (Common Data Environments) used in your daily life, integrated to bring the files and folders to Infrakit!
I think I don’t even need to mention the benefits from saving time of manually syncing data between Infrakit and other CDEs to the mitigated risk of using old information in crucial decisions – You are smarter than me so you for sure get the value from the get-go.

DEM to Model calculation is now a reality!
Already a few versions ago you got to experience the greatness of calculating volumes from DEM (Digital Elevation Models) in Infrakit 2D map. They say, when you give people something good – they want more of it!
“This is what happened with the volume calculation tool – Immediately a huge number of requests to make it even better! So yes, we are on a track to bring more and more great parts there! For this version, we brought a major addition already -> Calculating volumes from DEM against Models!

New Fresh Brand (!), Infrakit Insights and Loads of optimizations on performance
One of the key goals for us this year is to make everyday use of Infrakit smoother and more robust. To pursue that goal, we started with the most crucial ones – visualizing drawings and listing folders. Every single user needs those to work – every day – super well.
Already for this version, we spent a ton of time thinking about how to make them better – and I think we are on a good way to show the results to you! We have much more modern brand of Infrakit (like the new vehicle icons), DWGs crash less and visualize better – folders list faster. On top of those – you can now also access Infrakit Insights app from the top menu!
We have already praised this guy during the coffee breaks – but I want to let you also know who to thank for these great improvements. Our Development Team Lead Kim did an astonishing heavy lifting by single-handedly setting up both the CDE integrations and doing some major optimizations to your use of DWGs. Everyone from the development team succeeded very well this time – but Kim truly deserves a special mention!
